Jerry Jones sells 17 Cowboys Way to Hobbs Brook

Jerry Jones’ real estate firm is offloading an office building in the Dallas Cowboys corporate headquarters complex in Frisco to Massachusetts-based Hobbs Brook Real Estate, part of a mixed-use campus called the Star.

The building at 17 Cowboys Way spans 11 stories, 300,000 square feet and is across the street from luxury residential high-rise Twelve Cowboys Way. The building is the first multitenant office facility built in the Star since the Cowboys opened their headquarters in 2016, according to the Dallas Morning News. Notable tenants in the building include Cain Watters & Associates, McAfee, Fifth Third Bank and Baker Tilly.

Jerry Jones’ Blue Star sells Fifth Third tower at The Star

Jerry Jones’ Blue Star Land LP has sold one of its towers at The Star to a Massachusetts-based real estate investment firm.

Hobbs Brook Real Estate LLC, which is the real estate investment arm of FM Investment, entered the Texas market by scooping up the 313,417-square foot office tower at 17 Cowboys Way.

Peter Gottlieb, president and CEO of HBRE, said in a statement the company is excited to have a presence in what it calls “one of the country’s most dynamic mixed-use environments,” which he said is positioned for “long-term performance.”

Hobbs Brook Real Estate makes first purchase in Texas

The real estate investment arm of FM Investments has made its first acquisition in Texas by nabbing a nearly 100% leased office tower at the Dallas Cowboys-anchored mixed-use development in a northern suburb.
