Responsible for the development and implementation of Hobbs Brook Real Estate’s overall strategy, Peter manages the direct real estate investment activity of FM Global, a mutual insurance company, and HBRE’s parent company. HBRE is focused on the development, ownership, and operations of properties across asset classes nationally. Peter joined HBRE in 2022.
Prior to joining HBRE, Peter served as Senior Vice President and Regional Director for Rubenstein Partners, where he led investment activities in New England and in select Midwest Markets. His prior experience includes positions with firms including DRA Advisors, Archon Group (now Goldman Sachs Real Estate Asset Management), and Jones Lang LaSalle.
Peter graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, CT with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics.
As our Director of Design and Construction, Bradley Caradoso is responsible for leading the design and project implementation process of new buildings and major renovations for Hobbs Brook Real Estate’s portfolio and FM Global offices worldwide, with a focus on delivering high quality, resilient and sustainable buildings that provide long term value to our tenants.
Prior to joining HBRE, Bradley held the roles of Healthcare Studio Sr. Project Architect at DiGiorgio Associates, and Healthcare Studio Sr. Associate at Margulies Perruzzi Architects. In both roles his work was focused on hospital inpatient additions and renovations throughout the Northeast.
Bradley earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology and is a Registered Architect in the state of Massachusetts.
Jerome is a seasoned commercial real estate professional with deep knowledge and experience in asset management, leasing, disposition, financing and joint venture transactions as well as property redevelopment and repositioning of complex office, industrial, life science, retail, parking and mixed-use commercial properties. In his role at Hobbs Brook Real Estate Jerome focuses on the asset management and leasing of a 5 million SF portfolio of properties located in the suburban markets surrounding Boston, Chicago, Atlanta and Providence.
Prior to joining HBRE, Jerome held several roles at National Development including Director of Acquisitions and Vice President of Asset Management where he was involved with multiple building portfolios and mixed-use properties in Boston’s CBD, Seaport/Fort Point and Charlestown neighborhoods as well as the Inner Suburban and surrounding Boston suburban markets.
Jerome received his BS from the University of New Hampshire and is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Farms Prides Community Association.
An integral part of our team, Mirian is responsible for financial and consolidated reporting and property accounting including strategic management and oversight. Budgeting, internal controls, external auditing, development and project cost accounting, property accounting team management, recruitment, training, and staff development also fall under her authority. Additionally, Mirian leads the finance team’s initiatives focused on streamlining and enhancing financial analytics, performance measurement, and portfolio reporting.
Mirian has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting, beginning in healthcare and moving into real estate 10 years ago. Prior to joining FM Global, Mirian managed the accounting team at a New England-based commercial real estate firm where she had six years of progressive experience. Mirian was responsible for the day-to-day property and cost accounting and was involved in acquisitions and dispositions, investment reporting, annual budgeting, and internal controls.
A member of the Massachusetts Society of CPA’s and the CREW Network, Mirian holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, a Master’s in Accountancy, and is a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts.
Kerry Hawkins is the Senior Director of Asset Management for Hobbs Brook Real Estate, where she leads the development and implementation of investment strategies for the portfolio.
Prior to joining HBRE in 2023, Kerry held positions as the Senior Director of Life Science Investment Management at Greystar, and Senior Director of Capital Markets in JLL’s Boston office focused on life science investment sales and equity placement. She also previously spent 18 years at CBRE and Trammell Crow Company specializing in agency leasing and strategic asset repositioning for a variety of investors in office and life science assets. In her leasing career, she completed more than 1,100 transactions totaling more than 10.5 million square feet.
Kerry is actively involved in many industry organizations, including serving as President for CREW Boston, on the Board of Directors for NAIOP, the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for NAIOP MA, the Executive Committee for the DEI Collaborative, and a member of the Urban Land Institute and Commercial Brokers Association.
Kerry received her bachelor’s degree from Colby College in Government and Spanish and a certificate in Real Estate Finance from Boston University.
Joshua brings more than 20 years of real estate law experience to his position at Hobbs-Brook Real Estate that includes creating, leading, and managing global legal teams with an occupier focused perspective. In his role at HBRE, Joshua’s responsibilities include managing all legal functions, including our commercial and corporate real estate portfolios that consist of over five million square feet of new development, redevelopment, and long-term asset holdings. Additionally, he oversees leasing, acquisitions, development, construction, and corporate matters.
Joshua brings extensive domestic and international real estate experience to Hobbs Brook. He joined the company in 2021 from General Electric (GE) in New York where he was Global Lead Counsel – Real Estate. In this role, he oversaw GE’s international real estate department, including mergers and acquisitions support, enterprise-wide supplier agreements, and compliance matters. Prior to his tenure at GE, Joshua worked for several leading law firms handling commercial real estate and corporate transactional matters.
Joshua received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Princeton University and a Juris Doctor degree from Columbia School of Law and is licensed in the states of NY, CA and registered in-house counsel MA.
